One of the most exciting multiplayer games coming out this year is Left 4 Dead 2. Releasing on Nov. 17, this sequel to the award-winning left 4 dead has new characters, enemies, and new locations including …the “Big Easy”. There are 5 campaigns all taking place in the American south and some taking place during the daytime. The zombies will react different during the day (like the witch roams around crying instead of sitting in one place). All of you campers from the first game (myself included) that would get in a corner and wait for the horde will be out of luck in this game. Now when you hit a switch to alert the horde there will be another switch for you to hit in a different location to stop them. There will also be several new zombies types in the game, but what I am excited about mostly are the new melee weapons. From the trailer I saw there was a chainsaw, bats, and an axe. As awesome as LFD2 looks, they definitely could've postponed the release of it and put out some DLC. There's a reason that group boycotting LFD2 on Valve has reached over 20,000 members.
I love me some L4D and the sequel looks awesome, but come on valve, one year later and you’re making me pay another 50-60 bux for what could have easily been a 20-30 expansion? hate hate hate.
