New screenshots posted on the Mass Effect 2 media page focus on a soon to be new squad member.  He will be joining Jacob Taylor and Miranda Lawson.  A green skinned alien named Thane, his skillset will certainly be valuable when you go headhunting.

Thane is a character in Mass Effect 2. He is a drell assassin, rumored to be the most skilled in the galaxy.^[1] Unlike most assassins, who prefer to shoot their targets with a sniper rifle, Thane likes to go up close and kill his target personally.
