I’m not sure why, but Avalanche Studios’ upcoming title Just Cause 2, hasn’t been garnering as much attention as should be expected.  Slated for release sometime in 2010, this game oozes with potential.  The biggest innovation in this game is the grappling hook your character, one man army Rico Rodriquez, will have.  While the grappling hook has some ridiculous uses, there’s just so much you can do with it.  For example, in the trailer, you see that you are capable of latching vehicles together and dragging one behind the other.  You may not see the practical use of this right away, but below you can see that attaching a jeep to a helicopter can be used as a devastating weapon.  The hook can also be used in conjunction with your parachute, which will come in handy when you want to drop in on an oblivious enemy camp.  I’ll let the footage do the rest of the talking…
