Welcome Back

September 30th, 20092009-09-30T17:29:51ZF jS, Y Allen Kim No comments

Fall, my favorite time of the year. The NFL season is in full swing with the NBA lurking only a few weeks behind. With the upcoming basketball season about to start, 2K Sports is set to release their annual hardwood champ, NBA 2K.  Available now on XBLM, download a copy of the NBA 2K10 demo to see it for yourself in action.

Below is the latest trailer featuring the up and coming Rookies and Sophomores.  As expected, 2K delivers another top notch reel.

Xbox 360 Holiday Bundle

The Xbox 360 Holiday bundle is available in stores today. For $300, you’ll get an Elite 120 GB Xbox 360 Console with Lego Batman and Pure.

They definitely could have chosen a better bundle of games to include in this release.  I haven’t played either title, but the appeal for each seems pretty limited.  Regardless, you still get that sleek, black Xbox 360 Elite.

Left 4 Dead DLC: Crash Course

September 29th, 20092009-09-29T18:02:40ZF jS, Y Allen Kim No comments

The long awaited Left 4 Dead DLC, ‘Crash Course’, is finally available on XBL. Priced higher than the expected 560 MS Points, you can buy this DLC for 800 MS Points ($10).  Included is a new set of missions that take place between the No Mercy and Death Toll campaigns.

With Left 4 Dead 2 set to release on November 17th, one has to wonder why this DLC took so long to come out.

imageWe had a chance to ‘sit down’ and ask one of the newest marketing companies in the gaming industry some questions. Established earlier this summer, FiftyOne Marketing’s goal is to bridge the gap between the game companies and the gaming community.

FiftyOne Marketing has turned the way we’re used to experiencing marketing upside down in a very short time.  What makes this fresh, new company tick and what’s with this "list"?  You’ve tweeted with them and read about them, but now it’s time to know them!

The Lowdown: Fantastic visuals coupled with an intuitive AI make for a solid Hockey gaming experience.  Whether you are a seasoned veteran or newcomer, the game and controls are very easy to adapt to.  Expect hard hitting matches as you battle for supremacy on the ice.  However, don’t expect simulation realism, at least not out of the box.

September 17th, 20092009-09-17T20:36:04ZF jS, Y Kristofer Brozio No comments

ccCommand and Conquer is, at least in my humble opinion, the best RTS series ever made.

I love it, I’ve spent quite a bit of time playing all of them and have gone back and replayed them over and over again. They’re just so much fun.

Electronic Arts Inc. today announced that Command & Conquer™ Red Alert™ 3 Commander’s Challenge, a new action-packed chapter in the storied Command & Conquer franchise, is available now for download on Xbox LIVE and on September 24th at the PlayStation Store. Players can challenge the world’s toughest commanders and conquer the world in a gauntlet of 50 unique challenges for 800 Microsoft Points at the Xbox LIVE Marketplace and $9.99 at the PlayStation Store. Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 Commander’s Challenge is a standalone arcade title and does not require Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 to play.
