The Xbox 360 Holiday bundle is available in stores today. For $300, you’ll get an Elite 120 GB Xbox 360 Console with Lego Batman and Pure.
They definitely could have chosen a better bundle of games to include in this release. I haven’t played either title, but the appeal for each seems pretty limited. Regardless, you still get that sleek, black Xbox 360 Elite.
The games seem, as you say, more family oriented. Clearly aiming for a younger audience here. I guess better than Kungfu Panda/Lego Indiana Jones.
Although I agree those are not the greatest games on the xbox 360 I would say that these are good starter games especially trying to grab the "family". Most kids would see these games as entertaining. And both of these were rated fairly high so for a family who is budget minded this is a pretty good value to get started with on the xbox 360. I would say these are better than the kungfu panda/lego indiana jones bundles from last year.
