Most of the reviews we’ve done here are games, but I think it’s time we got started with some accessory reviews as well. MobileFun is a company based out of the UK and they carry mobile stuff like phones and accessories. They also carry game related products so they sent me over a nice little, inexpensive starter kit for the Xbox360 for review. It’s aptly named the Xbox 360 Starter Pack and it includes a nice long HDMI cable, full sized headset and a remote that is similar to the Xbox one but only smaller. The price is about $30, so that’s basically $10 for each part of the pack and that’s not a bad price really. So read on to learn more…

While I never played the first iteration in this franchise, the sequel has definitely caught my attention. Rios and Salem are back, but this time running through the streets of Shanghai. Read through to get a dose of the ultimate bromance.

As we reflect back on 2009 and the games it brought us, there are several ways to compare some of the newest additions to our gaming collections. One of those ways is by looking at review scores, on a site such as Metacritic. For those unfamiliar with Metacritic, it compiles the review scores of dozens of websites across the web to form one composite score, out of 100. Metacritic scores are regarded very highly, as they most accurately resemble the gaming community, as well as the entertainment industry.
According to Metacritic, the top Xbox 360 titles (and DLC) for 2009 were:
- Modern Warfare 2 (94/100)
- Street Fighter IV (93/100)
- Batman Arkham Asylum (92/100) – Our review
- Forza Motorsport 3 (92/100) – Our review
- Assassin’s Creed II (91/100) – Our review
- FIFA Soccer 10 (90/100)
- GTA: The Lost and the Damned (DLC) (90/100) - Our review
- GTA: The Ballad of Gay Tony (DLC) (89/100) – Our review
- Left 4 Dead 2 (89/100) – Our review
- Peggle (89/100)
- Peggle Nights (DLC) (89/100)
- Rock Band – The Beatles (89/100)
I had an opportunity to play a bit of Dante’s Inferno over the weekend. Being called ‘the next God of War’ by many, it certainly deserves such a billing. With a lot of hype, both positive and negative, click the jump to see if you’re ready to walk through the gates of hell.

I, for one, will be taking part in this challenge. Even though I’m a Knicks fan at heart, there’s no way their current roster would get me beyond the first round. Look out for me and the Magic!
