The recently announced Xbox Live Update is now available, but the main draw is the USB support.
You can now add up to 32GBs of memory to you Xbox 360 console through the use of any sort of external media storage device. Any flash drive or hard drive will be accepted but there are a few catches:
- Must be at least 1GB of space
- The media device must be dedicated to the 360 only
- Only a maximum of 16GB per device can be used
The update will take a bit of time as it goes through two stages. The first part will take about 3 minutes, while the other may take up to 17, depending on your connection speed. So go and eat lunch while you wait.
