Yesterday a Milford, CT, man was arraigned for harrassing a criminal trial witness on Xbox Live. According to WTNH TV, 23-year-old Anthony Hayward was arrested and charged with intimidating a witness, tampering with a witness, and harassment.

Hayward was out on bail awaiting his criminal trial for drug and gun possession charges when he purportedly wrote a message on Xbox Live to a witness that said, “rats die slowly.” He then went on to call the witness a “dead man walking”.

Hayward is being held on $50,000 bail by the Milford Superior Court awaiting his April 30 hearing date.
