So, this isn’t exactly Xbox 360 news, but it is video game related nonetheless. I couldn’t help but post this once I saw it, as it made me nostalgic thinking of the glory days of the series.
The Mortal Kombat series has been reimagined in this gritty and dark looking take on the story. Everything has been reworked to be more grounded in reality, having plausible storylines and characters. It looks like all that legal trouble the franchise was going through a while back has finally resulted in something that looks promising. The best part? It looks nothing like this.
Michael Jai White as Jax. Jeri Ryan as Sonya Blade. Scorpion as the protagonist? Need I say more?

Saw this trailer yesterday, very cool. Mortal Kombat is probably my favorite videogame movie in existence…too bad the second one sort of sucked.
