It has been known for some time now that Michael Jordan will be gracing the cover of the next iteration of NBA 2K. We first reported the rumor here and confirmed it a week later.
We knew as soon as we signed Jordan that we needed to do something special for the cover. This could possibly be the most highly anticipated cover art in the history of sports games and we think the image we came up with delivers on every front. I think fans will be pleasantly surprised at how Jordan is actually used in game, as NBA 2K11 will pay homage to ‘His Airness’ in many ways, but the cover art represented our first chance to stop and honor him along the way.

After patiently waiting for any news regarding his airness, we finally get a brief glimpse. While it’s only the cover art, it’s better than nothing, right? Expect previews and demonstrations to start trickling out over the coming weeks leading up to the release date of October 5th.
This is the best opening to any 2k game yet. The game isn’t at all easy to run all over the cmp,like every 2k hoops game prior. You actually have to learn 2 control the players.the jordan challange mode is spectacular. I can’t put the controler to my xbox360 down. Best hoop game ever.
