2K Games recently opened the doors to an exclusive Xbox 360 Multiplayer Beta for its upcoming third-person shooter, Spec Ops: The Line. Taking place in Dubai, players will assume control of a Delta Force Captain and his team attempting to extract a lost US Army Colonel. While fighting through vicious firefights, randomly generating sandstorms can either help or hinder their mission providing a unique experience every time. Emphasizing squad-based tactics over run-and-gun gameplay, Spec Ops: The Line is sure to provide a challenging and exciting experience.

The Multiplayer Beta has been given a number of restrictions, including being limited to Xbox LIVE Gold Members, gamers over the age of 18, and participants agreeing to sign a non-disclosure form is they are chosen. If those restrictions sound okay, you can register here.

Entry will be relatively limited, but 2K Games has stated that the number of participants chosen will increase as the Beta goes on.

Spec Ops: The Line is set to be released in 2011.
