EA Sports will be adding a one time download code for NBA Jam with new copies of NBA Elite 11.  It will come with 3 modes unlocked for play:  Play Now, Classic Campaign and Online.

For the casual fan, this may be enticing enough to switch over to EA for basketball.  This added incentive is sure to win over some new fans.  However, the gameplay in NBA Elite 11 is still largely unknown.  I doubt EA is able to turn around their franchise and suddenly dethrone the basketball king of consoles, NBA 2K, in just one year.  Slapping a brand new name on your product is not enough without solid mechanics to back it up.  Plus, there’s some guy named Michael Jordan, you may have heard of him, appearing in 2K’s version after a long hiatus from the virtual realm.
