Next Thursday being September, Lips DLC hasn’t been announced yet. Lips always seems to get the short end of the stick when it comes to DLC announcements!
Hopefully, we’ll be able to fill the Lips gap come next week. Now, on to the DLC!
MTV Games/Harmonix has released two new trailers for their upcoming titles, Rock Band 3 and Dance Central. The first trailer showcases the new keyboard feature in Rock Band 3, illustrated over three different songs, while the second trailer features roughly a minute of gameplay from the upcoming Kinect title, Dance Central.

It’s the last full week of August! Sadly, this means Lips DLC may end up taking a break next week, as Microsoft, for some reason, doesn’t put out press releases for upcoming Lips DLC releases. For now, enjoy the fact that you actually know what’s coming to you guys this week!
Harmonix took the time to take a break from GamesCom 2010 to humorously address some rumors going around about songs from the Rock Band 3 setlist. However, one Harmonix employee took the time to scroll though the entire setlist behind the two as they’re explaining. Don’t want to look at the blurry screen? Just announced at Gamescom 2010 in Germany, ten more Rock Band 3 on-disc songs have been revealed, including two songs in languages other than English! Check what they are after the jump.

Usually done by Cody, I’m intruding on his weekly music game DLC segment to announce the arrival of The Black Keys on Rock Band. A long time fan of the Akron born duo, I’m happy to see them finally get their due. I was front row at their recent Central Park Summerstage concert to witness an epic set. While I would’ve chosen some different songs, the upcoming 3 pack is still a strong selection and representation of the band.
The guys over at Xbox360Achievements.org have published the list of achievements for the upcoming Rock Band 3. Right out of the gate it features 62 achievements for a total of 1250, meaning DLC is utilized for achievements. Most of the achievements can be obtained by a good Rock Band player, but others seem like they’ll take a while such as “Five Star every song in Rock Band 3 on Expert.” Hit up the source link for the full list.

Second week of August, that just means another week of DLC! This time, Lips DLC returns to the monthly news section after skipping out last week.
It’s almost the end up Summer, with August finally here. The leaves may be turning brown and falling off, soon, but that doesn’t ‘t stop downloadable content!
Although it might stop any Lips DLC announcements, for the time being. It always seems to get the short end of the stick. No Lips DLC… yet.
