Remember the cute and cuddly world of EA’s Spore? Well, forget about that and check out the new Darkspore screens. Darkspore is EA’s new sci-fi action RPG that has been slowly traveling towards the top of everyone’s “must have” list. Darkspore will feature dynamic, fast-paced action as players battle across alien worlds to save the galaxy from the mutated forces of Darkspore in a four-player co-operative and full single-player campaign, as well as intense multiplayer battles. In order to defeat the malicious Darkspore, players will need to collect an arsenal of living weapons – genetic heroes with different combat abilities – and upgrade them with tens of thousands of collectible body parts and armor.

One of the most anticipated games of the year has released some frightening screens for the games new “Village” level. Hopefully in the near future Gamescom will release more information on the chilling first person shooter.
Alma returns for F.E.A.R. 3 but this time her sons Point Man and Paxton Fettel will be playable as two distinctly unique experiences in co-operative play. To further ensure extreme terror in F.E.A.R. 3, legendary horror mastermind John Carpenter (Halloween) and critically acclaimed horror comic and script writer Steve Niles (30 Days of Night) provided consultation. There are more images after the break.

EA Sports is showcasing Madden 11 in style with a special event dubbed “Madden Gras”. Named after the iconic festival that takes place in New Orleans, Mardi Gras, this will commemorate their city’s Superbowl win and start off this year’s title defense.
Also, EA Sports “will make a $100,000 donation to the National Wildlife Federation to assist in the Gulf Coast oil spill relief and wetlands restoration efforts.” Tom Goedde, Vice President of Marketing for EA SPORTS, says that this “integrated marketing campaign brings Madden to the People via dozens of touch points, leveraging the strength of a break-through feature set and the cultural significance of this franchise.”
Set to release across the states tomorrow, make sure to pick up a copy for yourself by taking advantage of this special offer!
