<p>Microsoft announced today that several popular titles were being added to their Platinum Hits collection. GTA, Left 4 Dead, and Streetfighter are just the beginning of the list. On top of the new titles, Microsoft announced that retailers have extended their “Buy 2, Get 1 Free” promotion for Platinum Hits.</p>

<p><i>Retailers extend ‘Buy 2 – Get 1 Free’ promotion thru October 31<sup>st</sup> as Grand Theft Auto, Streetfighter and Left 4 Dead join the latest inductees in the Platinum Hits Collection.</i></p>
<p>Microsoft today announced the latest titles that have earned their place in the Xbox 360 Platinum Hits collection, including “Grand Theft Auto IV” (Rockstar Games); “Streetfighter IV” (Capcom); “Left 4 Dead” (Valve); “Saint’s Row 2” (THQ); and “Star Wars – The Force Unleashed” (LucasArts). Continuing on under the banner “Greatness is Earned,” Xbox has selected the top-rated and best-selling games to receive the Xbox Platinum Hits label and will make them available in stores at prices starting as low as $19.99.&#160; </p>
<p>With over 60 titles, the Xbox 360 Platinum Hits Collection delivers classic must-have games at a great value under one elite umbrella.</p>
<p>The new titles added to the collection are as follows:</p>
<p>· <b>Grand Theft Auto IV: </b>A powerful modern-day crime epic set in the most detailed sandbox environment ever created. Explore Liberty City as Niko Bellic, an Eastern European immigrant with a war-torn past in search of the American Dream. <p>Microsoft today announced that eight new titles have earned their place in the Xbox 360 Platinum Hits collection, including “Gears of War,” “Forza Motorsport 2” and “Mass Effect.” Launching with a new box design and under the banner “Greatness is Earned,” Xbox has selected the top-rated and best-selling games to receive the Xbox Platinum Hits label and will make them available in stores at prices starting as low as $19.99.</p>
<p>The Platinum Hits collection, which is now comprised of over 45 different titles, represents sales of over 120 million units, bringing the classic must-have games under one elite umbrella and available at a great value.</p>
<p>The full list of the latest titles is made up of the following games: <span id="more-16"></span></p>
<p>· <strong>“Gears of War” (Epic Games)</strong> – Named “Game of the Year” by over 30 media outlets, &#8220;Gears of War&#8221; is the definitive third-person shooter and one of the most popular Xbox 360® games in history. &#8220;Gears of War: Platinum Hits&#8221; comes complete with every map pack, game mode and Achievement ever released on Xbox LIVE.</p>
