With the increasing amount of industry partnerships and Xbox-exclusive bonus content, it has become clear that the Xbox 360 is at the leading edge of the video games industry. Add a recently-updated console and the release of Kinect later this year, and Microsoft has certainly shown their strength in the market. That being said, there’s an ever-increasing amount of news in the industry, and we need your help covering it.
At present, we’re primarily looking for news writers, but we are constantly expanding all facets of our team when necessary. Are you someone whose interest in video games parallels your interest in writing? If so, we’d love to have you on board. For those interested in joining us, simply head on over to our contact form at http://xbox360digest.com/contact (select “Other”) and tell us a little about yourself. While we are only filling a few positions at present, we encourage anyone to apply.
As we look forward and widen our news reach, if there’s ever anything specific you want to read about, just drop us a line. Thanks for the continued support, and happy gaming!

We’re here!
This week we’re in Los Angeles at the Electronic Entertainment Expo, and we’re bringing it to you live! From product unveilings to hands-on of the latest games, we’ve got it all. Any posts that start with “X3D @ E3 2010:” will be live reports coming to you straight from the show. This will include press conferences, interviews, booth tours, and anything else that we can find worthy of posting.
We’ve also set up Xbox360Digest.com/E3 to help filter our exclusive content from the show. From the press briefings to the booth tours, look straight to us for all of your E3 news.
On another note, I’d like to welcome Brent Frey to the team, as he will be our photographer for the show. You can check out some of his recent work at BrentFrey.com.

Next week we’ll be celebrating our 1-year launch anniversary. While we have several things planned for the occasion, the first thing we wanted to do was find a way to help interact with our community. Today we’re announcing the Xbox 360 Digest Community Forums, an open environment for discussion of all things gaming (and non-gaming as well)!
Head over to http://Xbox360Digest.com/forums to share the latest deals, ask for help in a game, or even find someone to buy all those old games you have gathering dust… To celebrate the occasion, we’ve even got FOUR new contests that you can enter exclusively on the forums, and more are coming soon.
With things being so new, we’re open to your feedback. If you have any suggestions, comments or questions, please let us know! We look forward to seeing you there.

Thanks again to all who turned out last night for our Community Playdate! We estimate we played with roughly 1000 of you and we all thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Next time, we will do our best to play with more of you, as the number of people wanting to play with us was absolutely staggering!
As mentioned during the games, we will begin hosting our own Xbox 360 Digest playdates soon. Separate from the official Microsoft playdates, they will be open to all of the readers of our site. Look for more details following in the coming weeks regarding our first date and game selection (most likely Modern Warfare 2).
Until then, check out some videos after the break of Ramon showing off on the Xbox360Digest gamertag tonight.

As we here in the United States take a day off from work, and from our busy routines to spend time with family and friends, I hope all of us will take a minute to reflect on our Military who stand guard and defend our Country. I know we get a lot of readers from other countries, so I hope all of you can share this day with us and remember all of your fallen heroes and pray for all of our Military.
With my job I am fortunate enough to be able to travel, and one of my trips took me to Washington DC. I cleared some of my schedule and took the tour of Arlington National Cemetery. While there I had the privilege to witness the “Changing of the Guard” who stands guard over the Tomb Of The Unknown Soldier. There were hundreds of people gathered and it still amazes me the reverence that all shared during this Ceremony. We here in the United States have a wide range of Political View Points, but it was awesome that everyone there stood in silence and honored the Fallen Soldier. I will never get through another Memorial Day without thinking of my trip to Arlington National Cemetery.
For all of you that have Family and Friends in the Military or have lost a loved in the line of duty, I want you to know that we here at Tilt Mobility, Fuze Mobility, Mobility Digest, and XBOX 360 Digest all honor and pray for you this day.
Sincerely,
Doug Smith
